Lina Huertas, Psychologist
Close and professional psychological support
I am Lina Huertas, psychologist and psychotherapist with more than 15 years of experience accompanying people in their personal and emotional processes.
I work from an integrative and humanistic approach, tailored to each individual. Listening, being genuine, and creating a strong therapeutic bond are the foundation of the process. I aim to offer a welcoming space where you can explore and express your story, your emotions, and your relationships, discovering new ways to understand yourself and grow in a more authentic and connected way.
Therapy tailored to your needs
A space for you
Each person experiences life and emotions in a unique way. Therefore, my sessions are tailored to your story, your current life stage, and what you need to work on, from everyday difficulties to more complex experiences. I combine various therapeutic tools—from narrative techniques and dynamic, body-oriented methods to EMDR trauma intervention—that help connect the body, mind, and emotions.
My goal is to offer you a safe space where you can explore what you feel, understand yourself better and reconnect with yourself, finding a way to be more present and more fulfilled.
Close Listening
A safe and welcoming space where you can express yourself freely and feel understood. The people I work with appreciate the calm and natural atmosphere of the sessions, and the opportunity to laugh together when the mood arises.
Integrative approach
I combine different therapeutic tools, adapted to each person and their stage of life. I specialize in brief, transcultural therapy, EMDR (trauma intervention), and somatic and body-oriented approaches.
International
I have assisted people from over 80 countries, with diverse cultures, backgrounds, and circumstances. I have worked for various NGOs focused on migration and refugees. I have experience assisting foreigners and navigating migration processes. I provide services in Spanish and English, both within and outside of Spain.
Deep well-being
A supportive approach that fosters calm, clarity, and a more authentic connection with yourself. My priority is to create a strong therapeutic bond that promotes your well-being.
A unique process for each story

What do my clients think about me?
""Your therapy feels light, like floating, but with a profound impact. You are a courageous psychologist, able to address difficult issues with a delicacy that transforms without hurting. Furthermore, it has been a revelation to see how the physical exercises we do in the sessions can move me so deeply. I didn't think a physical action could affect how I feel so much.""
Maria B.

Paula G.
""Thanks to Lina, I'm better able to communicate with the people around me, both at work and in my personal life. I can say what I don't want or what's bothering me. And above all, since I met her, I have a safe place to go and vent my frustrations without feeling judged. Thank you, Lina!""

""Lina is a patient, understanding, and empathetic professional. She creates safe environments and helps you talk about difficult situations or emotions with care and empathy. She encourages you to go further, to delve deeper to understand yourself better, asking questions and making assessments that are usually spot on. I've always felt that she cared about finding the techniques that would help me the most, so you end up with the feeling that there's a real effort to connect with you as a person. Absolutely wonderful!""

Arantxa G.
""I've always felt very free to express my feelings, and therapy is generally never a burden. I know I always leave feeling better and lighter, with tools that, although sometimes very subtle and not like a to-do list, become integrated into my life almost magically. I've noticed many changes and results in my life.""

Reflections on an experience of gender-based violence
I lived through an extreme situation that left me physically and emotionally broken, and on top of that, I encountered a system that failed to protect or support me. This led to years of silence, guilt, and disconnection. But when I finally found a safe and specialized space, I was able to begin forgiving myself, understanding my emotions, rebuilding my self-esteem, and recovering parts of myself I thought were lost.
